Parents and Carers

At Archway we value the support from Parents, Carers and the local Community. We will regularly host events for parents and carers when circumstances allow, as you can appreciate, with the pandemic we have not been able to do so. These events have a focus and enable all staff to meet with attendees in a social setting to enable discussions about; the progress made by our learners and  issues where support is needed outside of school.

The most recent questionnaires that were given out had a total of 12 areas to grade including: content of lessons; structure of day; quality of handouts; session length; ‘I had fun’ and ‘I learnt something useful. Overwhelmingly positive response (tick-boxes provided ranged from Poor to Excellent/Useful) with an additional judgement for Overall.

  • 73% of parents/carers judged the event to be ‘Excellent/Useful’
  • 27% of parents/carers judged the event to be ‘Good’
  • NO parents/carers judged the event to be ‘Average’ or ‘Poor’

Comments included:
