Key Stage 1&2

Our youngest students benefit hugely from having a high teacher/student ratio.Since September 2014, we have fully engaged our Primary children with the ‘Cornerstones’ curriculum and to date, they have learnt all about ‘Predators and Prey’ as well as ‘The Romans’. Both subjects warranted exciting trips away, as the department continues to succeed in mixing engagement and progress admirably. Our primary students are generally very quick at closing any age related gaps, as expectations for them academically- and behaviourally, are pitched so high.

Our students use the ‘Read, Write, Ink’ phonics programe.
